About Polar Chart

Polar Chart is an independent comparison site covering polar expedition cruise operators and Iceland-based tour operators. We are not affiliated with, and do not represent, any of the operators we compare.

Our starting point was a simple problem: search results for "Aurora Expeditions vs Arctic Adventures" blend two completely unrelated companies — a polar cruise line and an Iceland land-tour operator — because they share overlapping keywords. We built this site to separate the two clearly and point readers to the comparisons they actually need.

How we work

Every figure, date, certification, and quoted claim on this site is checked against a maintained source file before publication. Where we could not verify a fact against a reliable source, we mark it openly as unverified rather than estimate or invent it. See our Editorial Policy for the full method.
