Editorial Policy

Polar Chart compares polar expedition cruise operators and Iceland tour operators. We are independent of every operator we cover, and outbound links to operator websites may earn us a commission — see the disclosure in our footer on every page.

How we verify facts

Every number, date, ship name, certification, and quote used on this site is checked against a maintained internal source file before it's published. Where a fact isn't confirmed by a reliable source, we label it openly as unverified rather than publish an estimate, a plausible-sounding figure, or a guess.

Quotes and reviews

User quotes referenced on comparison pages are paraphrased summaries of real discussions found on public forums (such as Tripadvisor and Reddit threads), with the source named. We do not fabricate reviewer names or invent quotes.
